They stretch out nicely thanks to the elastic loop at the top, and mesh along the back allows you to have a little bit more room.

There's a pretty solid argument that the Peak Design Everyday Backpack is the best-looking camera backpack on the market (though I'll be the first to admit that's hugely subjective). Compared to almost every other camera backpack I've reviewed over the years, it's one of the few I feel comfortable calling 'sleek'. The Everyday Backpack isn't bulky or overloaded with extra dangly bits and attachments. Inside the bottom zippered pockets, you’ll find two small divider pockets which are a good size for SD cards, dongles, or other smaller bits.

The weather-resistance of the Everyday Backpack’s material is great, but it doesn’t do too well if it’s left open. Now, you should know that although Peak Design calls this Everyday Backpack the 30L version, it’s actually only 30L when the MagLatch is fully at the top. The brand’s marketing is a bit misleading in this regard—it’s kind of an unsexy way to use the bag if the MagLatch is always at the top.

More comfortable bags with more useful features are out there. I'd recommend the Think Tank "Backstory 15" (I just got one a few days ago). Very efficient lightweight compact design, bigger capacity inside than it appears at first, excellent build quality, great looks, excellent comfort, airline carry-on compatible etc etc. Easily takes my Z9 plus Z 400mm f/4.5 plus tele-converters, binoculars, charger, power adaptor, Z mm f/4 and more in the main compartment. Detatchable hip belt, laptop & pad etc in front compartment.

This is also where Peak Design stashes the other two lash straps that come with the bag. If you’re using the Everyday Backpack 30L (V2) as a camera bag, this feature is awesome. You can have all your travel camera gear organized inside (more on this shortly), swing the bag around to your front, and get exactly what you need—without taking everything else out of the bag. Two lash straps deploy from a magnetic pocket at the bottom of the Everyday Backpack 30L (V2). You’ll also get two other lash straps included in the side pockets on the interior of the bag. The front lash straps can be used to attach something like a jacket, and the bottom ones for something like a tripod.
But these ones can be attached to a bunch of different points on the outside of the pack, adding another layer of customizability. They can really hold a lot of extra gear—hiking poles, sleeping pads, yoga mats, the Peak Design guys even strapped a full grocery bag on there! The best part, though, is that all of the external straps are easily stored away in a small, magnetically sealed pocket at the bottom of the bag, and in the side pockets. Pull them out when needed, otherwise keep them hidden away for a nice clean look. Behind the back panel is another improvement over V1 of the Everyday Backpack—a small, velcroed slot at the bottom that allows you to slide in a removable hip belt. A hip belt for a bag this size isn’t necessary, but if you’re hauling around a bunch of heavy lenses and camera gear, it can be nice to have.
If you’re looking for the 20L (which may be a bit small for one bag travel), you can also grab the Everyday in tan, or black with the Huckberry Exclusive, which we think looks pretty great. The Peak Design Everyday Backpack is full of smart features. Although intended for photography, it works well for digital nomads & one bag travelers, too.
These swivels also make it incredibly easy to swing the pack around and access one of the side compartments. A camera bag is to me like a pair of jeans that each one has his favorite pair, and eventually one feels comfortable with any pair of jeans if one continues to wear it. Most of the camera bags are over-designed and over-protected, IMHO. Today's cameras are less bulky and well-made, and unless one wants to exhibit a bag in a particular camera bag then he can go for one.

The bag has issues in padding and the flexfold is awesome for you or you hate it , and its clearly a more commuter style bags in that it sacrifices some style for comfort . So not perfect at all.But if my early PD bag would now fail or get lost , I instantly would buy a new one. No mechanical defects or visible wear and tear, still has all original hardware.
